For example, blockchain allows authors to save their works in successive ledgers, such that they can be used as reliable proof of authorship, because saved information can neither be modified nor destroyed. In fact, a pioneer court has already used this novel technology to prove copyright authorship: the Intellectual Property Court of the Russian Federation registered in December 2018 a change to a group of rights holders using a blockchain solution provided by the Russian IP company IPChain.
